Prix Fondation Thiébaud-Frey
The Fondation Thiébaud-Frey endows an award for a prizewinner of the 16th Concours Géza Anda, which is worth CHF 3000 and includes a recital at the cultural centre La Prairie in Bellmund, Switzerland.

Conducting from the piano

In September 2022, the Géza Anda-Foundation presented a masterclass held by Mikhail Pletnev, in collaboration with Luzerner Sinfonieorchester. Four talented prizewinners of major international piano competitions learnt how to rehearse a concerto from the Viennese Classical period with the orchestra and lead it from the keyboard, without a conductor.
